TechGenius 2025 brought together over 350 participants, 40 mentors, and an atmosphere charged with curiosity and adrenaline. Hosted in collaboration with IT Park and UNDP, the hackathon offered participants access to real-world challenges, ranging from climate change to digital accessibility.

The standout feature this year was the "MVP Rush" format, encouraging teams to develop a working prototype within the first 24 hours. By morning of Day Two, over 60 teams had something demo-ready—some included biometric authentication features and real-time IoT integrations.

The winning project, “PolyGlot,” used edge AI for live translation in noisy environments—impressive given it was created by high school students on borrowed Raspberry Pi boards. Judges praised not only the technical depth but also the intuitive UX and scalability of their approach.

Events like TechGenius don’t just spotlight talent—they form the connective tissue of Uzbekistan’s growing tech ecosystem, inspiring participants and spectators alike.
